Steve Pugh is CEO of UNIT4 CODA, Inc. in North America. He is responsible for commercial operations covering the marketing, sales and support of CODA Financials products. Steve qualified as a chartered accountant (FCA – ICAEW) while working in tax audit and accounting practices, before moving into financial controller positions in the industry. He has been with CODA for over 20 years in various roles, having joined the company in 1986, when he decided on a career change because of an interest in computer systems. His first position was application consultant on the VMS product team, and he subsequently became manager of consulting for the VAX products before heading up CODA’s professional services team. Steve moved into product management before moving to the US in 1996 to join a newly formed management team as VP of professional services and support.
