Accounts Receivable Management Software Provider Unit4 Coda Keeps on Working with IBM

Accounts Receivable Management Software Provider Unit4 Coda is continuing its close relationship with IBM (News - Alert). Unit4 Coda, Inc. has supported the IBM i platform for close to a quarter of century, the company says.

And the company recently highlighted its relationship with IBM at the Common 2011 Annual Meeting, which was held in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The company’s Coda Financials software product is Java-based. It is often used for complex business environments. It combines accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and budgeting, into a single product backed by a single database, the company said. In addition, Coda Financials can be customized based on its users’ needs.

Some 2,600 medium or large organizations use Coda Financials, according to a company statement.

“Since the early 1980s, Coda Financials has always run natively on IBM platforms – initially AS/400 and now Power Platform with DB2. Power Systems users are assured that their businesses have the most flexible and adaptable financial accounting system. It's designed to work on their platform of choice, with their existing environment and with any new applications they choose in the future,” Steve Pugh, CEO of Unit4 CODA, said in a company statement. “Coda Financials easily adapts to changes in business requirements and provides powerful and flexible reporting and analysis tools that are used by more than 3,000 enterprises worldwide.”

In addition, IBM Power Systems servers running Power i let enterprises add apps and run varied technology in a single environment.
